SOCIAL SELLER GUIDE
How to move price negotiation out of your messages.
Everything sellers and buyers need to know—from a social post or DM to collection.
Who is BargainCore for?
Social-first sellers of vintage, antique, pre-owned, consignment and one-of-a-kind furniture who generate buyer interest through Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, their website, a showroom or other direct channels.
Does it replace Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp or my website?
No. Keep selling where buyers already find you. BargainCore is the negotiation layer between that interest and you: use it for price offers while you continue normal buyer messages.
What should I say in a post or DM?
Use a simple prompt such as “Want to make an offer? Link in bio,” “Negotiate this piece,” “Make an offer,” or “DM for details — negotiate price here.”
Can I still answer buyer questions personally?
Yes. BargainCore is specifically for price negotiation. Continue answering messages about condition, dimensions, provenance, restoration, shipping, collection and design directly.
Is my private minimum visible?
Never. It remains server-side and is not returned to the buyer interface. BargainCore negotiates upward from buyer offers and cannot agree below it.
Do buyers need an account?
No. They open the link and make an offer immediately. A phone number is requested only after a price agreement.
What happens when several buyers negotiate?
Each buyer has a private conversation. The engine treats those conversations as one market, considers active competing demand, and helps you see the strongest and most serious buyers.
Does a price agreement immediately hold the item?
No. It is a soft agreement. The piece becomes provisionally reserved only after the buyer supplies their contact details and collection or delivery preference.
Is a deposit required?
No. BargainCore initially uses commitment details rather than payment. Sellers can reopen a reservation if a buyer disappears.
Does BargainCore collect payment or arrange shipping?
Not currently. BargainCore organizes the private price agreement and buyer handoff; payment, delivery and collection remain directly between you and the buyer.
Is this an AI chatbot?
The buyer experience is simple, but price decisions use hard minimum constraints, buyer behaviour, negotiation progress, probability, expected value and competing-buyer signals.
Can the seller see why a response was made?
Yes. Decisions are logged with inputs, candidate prices, constraints and the selected reason. Administrators can monitor and replay decisions.
